Search engines - Explanation of terms

A search engine is a software program or a search for documents or files, which in a computer or a computer network, such as The World Wide Web, are stored.

After entering one or more keywords, the search engine for specific criteria a list of links to relevant documents, which most likely with the search text in relationship could be brought.
