Google - PageRank

The PageRank, or on the PageRank based algorithm was developed by the founders of the Google search engine. Larry Page and Sergey Brin, were still students at Stanford University, had tried a new method for assessing the relevance of individual websites.

The PageRank Algorhitmus rated websites due to the number and the quality and strength of incoming links.

Basis of this process is the theory that the relevance of a page will increase if other sites on this page. The stronger the weight of the respective links, and the larger the number, the higher the relevance or the PageRank of the linked page.
